In the summer of 2022, four music-loving friends got together to play a piece of music they all loved. What started as simple fun chamber group evolved into a nonprofit that is Senza Sordino.

Senza Sordino is a musical term that means without the mute. It is our hope that we can unmute the fun in music and bring out the joy -- not just for the listeners, but for the performers, too. ​​​

​Senza Sordino is a nonprofit music organization dedicated to spreading passion for music and fostering aspiring musicians. We encourage teens from all backgrounds to explore their musical passions, whether through performance, teaching, or organizing local events. Music has the unique ability to inspire, heal, and unite people from all communities, bringing joy to performers and audience alike. Through our platform, we aim to empower young musicians around the globe to find their voices and make differences in their communities.
